Miranda Roberts unveiled as new policy officer at Mobile Entertainment Forum
Another fine MEF
She was highly effective at PhonePayPlus. But can she step up a gear at MEF?
The Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF), the trade association of the mobile media industry, has appointed Miranda Roberts as its policy and initiatives officer.
Roberts’s job is to drive mobile entertainment adoption, shape regulation and deliver competitive advantage to members.
In her new role, Roberts will support and engage with all stakeholders on MEF initiatives and policy work, using all the hard won experience of regulatory affairs and project management gained at PhonepayPlus, the UK premium rate regulator.
“I’m delighted,” said Roberts.
She will be working closely alongside Suhail Bhat, policy and initiatives director.
The appointment comes after MEF established an EMEA regulatory committee, which comprises over 30 members, to shaping policies that protect member revenues while ensuring a positive consumer experience.
STOP PRESS
Kim Arazi has now been promoted to member relations director, in recognition of her work in this area and as Meffys director. Ksenia Arkhipova, also joins as office and marketing coordinator.
