CellCrypt stops phone snoopers evesdropping on your secret plans
Mobile phone calls bugged
"Any tabloid newspaper could be listening in on your mobile calls. They've got the technology and tbe contacts"
If Prince Charles has used encryption technology, the News of the World might never have revealed the private details of his phone conversations with Camilla Parker Bowles.
Voice security firm Cellcrypt has released Cellcrypt Mobile version 4, which encrypts your voice over Nokia Smartphones. It’s now available on a range of Windows Mobile devices.
“You protect your valuable computer data by encrypting it. Why not do the same for sensitive voice conversations,” said Lauri Monroy, Cellcrypt’s product manager.
If you’re secretly planning to lay off half the work force, or planning to use the police to mount a series of dawn raids on your political oppoenents, the last thing you need is a News of the World reporter listening in on your phone calls. And believe us, they have the technology to do it.
In that case, Cellcrypt Mobilecould be the answer to Jacqui Smith’s prayers. It gives a Home Secretary the confidence that phone calls, whether in the mobile or office environment, at home or overseas, within or between departments and with partners, suppliers and friends, complete protection, end-to-end.
“The addition of Windows Mobile to Cellcrypt’s list of supported operating systems allows customers far more flexibility in their choice of existing and new handsets,” adds Monroy.
The only possible drawback would be if a civil servant leaked details of your furtive behaviour to the media. But there’s no technology in the world to legislate for that. Yet.
